Cockroaches can also feed and survive on items like newspaper, magazines, glue found in books. They hide and contaminate all utensils and kitchen appliances at night. They carry bacteria that are capable of spreading diseases like dysentery, food poisoning and diarrhea.

Kitchen appliances like coffee maker, toaster, fridge, microwave, rice maker, waffle & sandwich maker, mixer grinder, juicer, etc are the ideal place for food and shelter for cockroaches. They produce an oily liquid that stains the places it is secreted at and it also has a very bad odour.
To help them in mating and swarming, cockroach feces contain chemical trails that emit airborne pheromones. These pheromones help cockroaches track chemically-active trails to discover food in the hide-outs of other cockroaches.
